Troubleshooting
WARNING!
The hob operates with dangerous mains voltages. Improper use, faulty electrical installation
or excessive mains voltage may result in an electric shock or short-circuiting.

Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put your
own and future users’ lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out
this repair work.
■
Do not continue to cook if there are cracks in the glass ceramic hob. Water that runs
through cracks inside the glass ceramic hob may be live! If there are cracks in your glass
ceramic hob, disconnect it from the power supply (remove the fuse) to prevent a possible
electric shock and call our service department see „Our Customer Service“ on page GB-24).

F3–F8
The temperature sensor is not working. Please call our Customer
Service see „Our Customer Service“ on page GB-24).
F3–FE
The temperature sensor of the IGBT is not working. Please call our
Customer Service see „Our Customer Service“ on page GB-24).
E1/E2
Wrong mains voltage. Disconnect the hob from the power supply and
check that the mains voltage is correct. Only switch the power supply
back on when the mains voltage is again normal.
E3/E4
Wrong temperature. Inspect the cookware.
E4/E5
Wrong heating temperature in the cooking zone. Allow the cooking
zone to cool down and then switch it back on.
