If you do not press a sensor or do not
place suitable cookware on the cooking zone
within one minute of switching the hob on, the
hob will switch off automatically.
You cannot activate the ‘
+
’- and ‘
-
’ sen-
sors with normally illuminated indicators
before you have selected a cooking zone.
If there is no pot, or no suitable pot,
placed on the selected cooking zone,
the ‘ ’ indicator will appear beside the
corresponding sensor after approximately
two seconds. As soon as you place a suitable
pot on the cooking zone, the selected heat
setting will again be displayed.
In rare cases, this indicator may also appear
when there is a suitable pot. After a few sec-
onds, however, the selected heat setting will
be displayed again.

’ sensor (11) (multiple times in a
row if necessary) or press and hold it down
with your finger longer to reduce the heat
setting of the cooking zone.
After a few seconds, the indicator for the
selected cooking zone will be normally lit
and the new heat setting will have been
selected.
When the ‘ ’ indicator and not the heat set-
ting is blinking in the display, this may have
the following causes:
– The cookware is not placed on the cor-
rect cooking zone.
– The cookware being used is not suitable
for induction hobs.
– The cookware is too small or is not cen-
tred on the cooking zone.
As long as there is no suitable cookware on
the cooking zone that is switched on, no heat-
