• Remove all packaging and weigh the
food. The weight is required to ensure the
correct settings.
• Place the food in an appropriately sized
container into which the defrost water can
run without overflowing.
• Do not cover the food.
Defrosting by weight
1. Place the dish or beverage in the cook-
ing chamber (7) and close the door (8).
2. Press the “Defrost by weight / time” but-
ton (11) once.
The display (10) is showing

3. Turn the function dial (14) in order to
enter the weight of the dish (between
100 g and 2000 g, in 100 g steps).
4. Press the “Start / +30 Sec. / Confirm”
button (13).
The appliance starts. The ventilator starts.
The light in the cooking chamber switches
on. The rotary plate (2) starts to turn. The
pre-programmed time appears for the
entered weight, which then counts down.
The symbols for Microwave
and De-
frost
are flashing.
After half the defrosting time has elapsed,
2 short signal tones will sound indicating
that the food needs to be turned over
5. Open the microwave door.
6. Rotate the dish.
7. Pour away any defrost water as needed.
8. Close the cooking chamber door.
9. To continue the defrosting process,
press the “Start / +30 Sec. / Confirm”
button.
As soon as the cooking time has finished,
a signal will sound 5 times and the appli-
ance switches off. The display now shows
the time again.
10. Open the door and carefully remove the
dish.
Timed defrosting
1. Place the dish or a beverage in the cook-
ing chamber (7) and close the door (8).
2. Press the “Defrost by weight / time” but-
ton (11) once.

3. Turn the function dial (14) to set the de-
sired defrosting duration (between 5 sec-
onds and 95 minutes).
4. Press the “Start / +30 Sec. / Confirm” but-
ton (13).
The appliance starts. The ventilator starts.

display, the time you have entered will now
be counted down. The symbols for Micro-
wave
and Defrost
are flashing. As
soon as the cooking time has finished, a
signal will sound 5 times and the appliance
switches off. The display now shows the
time again.
5. Open the door and carefully remove the
dish.
The power level for defrosting cannot
be changed.
Automatic programmes
You can prepare dishes with ease thanks
to the 10 automatic programme settings.
You simply select the program and enter the
weight of the dish. Automatic mode does the
rest.

3. Please ensure that the device is in sleep
mode (normal time display). If a pro-
gramme setting is still active, press the
“Stop / Delete” button (15).
