Particularly with poultry and dish-
es containing fresh egg , and when
warming up meals, make sure that
the food is fully cooked through to
kill off all pathogens (e.g. salmonella).

Do not allow children to play with the
packaging fi lm. They may get caught
up in this or suff ocate.

Prevent children from pulling small
parts from the device or taking them
out of the accessory bag and putting
them in their mouths.
Hazards for children and people with
limited physical, sensory or mental ca-
pacity.

This appliance can be used by chil-
dren aged eight years and above and
by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities, or who
lack experience and/or knowledge,
if they are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use and under-
stand the dangers associated with its
use.

Children must not be allowed to play
with the appliance.
■
Cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they
are supervised.
■
Keep children away from the cook-
ing chamber door glass. The cooking
chamber glass can become very hot
during operation – risk of burning!
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Heating the liquid can cause so-called
‘delayed boiling’. The liquid then reach-
es boiling temperature without any
outward visible sign of boiling. Even a
small vibration can cause the liquid to
squirt out suddenly, e.g. when being
taken out of the device.

In order to avoid a boiling delay, place
a spoon in the container. The spoon
must always maintain a minimum
distance of 2 cm from the inner walls
of the device.

Do not use tall, thin containers with a
narrow top section.
■
Please ensure you stir the food before
eating and after half the cooking time
has elapsed.
■
Please wait a short moment after
heating up; carefully tip the dish and
stir before removing the container
from the cooking chamber.
Risk of burns!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to burns. When in operation,
the device and its exposed component
parts can become very hot. After using
the Grill or Combi modes, the grill (at
the top of the cooking chamber) is very
hot. The containers can also get very
hot due to the foods.

Keep children under 8 years of age
away from the device, unless they are
under constant supervision.
■
Allow the grill to cool before cleaning.
■
Do not touch parts of the unit hous-
ing.
