Strawberry Jam
6 cups (1.4 L) strawberries,
capped, cut into small pieces
(approx. 2 lbs. [907 g] fresh)
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) sugar
3 Tablespoons (44 ml) powdered
fruit pectin
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
Place all ingredients in pan; stir until well mixed. Start breadmaker.
After cycle has finished, allow jam to cool about 1 hour before
transferring into storage containers. Store in refrigerator for up to
3 weeks or in freezer for 1 year.
Makes 4 cups (946 ml).

Use entire box of any brand or flavor of 18-ounce (510-g) or
18 3/4-ounce (532-g) Cake Mix. Follow package directions using
Cycle .
