In accordance to UL Standard S647, each fi lter component (grease and odor) shall have an interlock to prove 
the component is in place. Where any of these interlocks are interrupted, the cooking equipment shall not be 
able to operate, the fans (exhaust and re-circulation) shall be disabled.
