Table 4: Heat Modes and Y2Out: BINs vs. Y1/Y2 with Dual Fuel Back Up
(NOTE) BIN E contains Y2Out for a first stage, Y1 demand call. This is in an effort to move enough heat for this condition.
3.
The BINs in
Table 3
and
Table 4
are defined in
Table 5
. The outputs that are energized for the different heat modes are
described in
Table 6
.
4.
The Outdoor Fan output (ODF1) is energized any time there is a call for Heating, except when in H6, H7, or during Defrost Mode.
Y2Out is not energized in Heat Mode 1. Y2Out is not energized in Heat Mode 2 when the ambient temperature is in BIN C and
Bin D. In any other heat modes, Y2Out is allowed to energize. Heat Mode is not allowed at 82°F (27.7°C) or above.

AMB>16.6°C

5.
In the Heat Mode, the operation does not move down from H2 to H1; this is the same idea for the Cool Mode. This is to reduce
the number of compressor cycles that occur.
