8.2. First start-up
Before the first start-up of the appliance, please, check the following elements:
• Proper installation of the appliance;
• Proper connection of all pipes and wires;
• The cooling pipe has been tested for leaking;
• Efficient water discharge pipe;
• Full insulation protection;
• Adequate earthing;
• Appropriate power source;
• The air inlet and air outlet are not restricted;
• There is no air in the water pipeline and all the valves are in open position;
• Efficient earth leakage protection is in place;
• There is sufficient water inlet pressure (≥0.15MPa)
After being connected to the water pipeline system and the mains supply system,
the hot water tank must be filled up with water from the household water supply sys -
tem. Before activating the heating, the tank must be filled with water. While filling the
tank with water, open the hot water valve of the closest tap, but keep all other valves
closed. Then open the closing valve installed in the cold water pipeline (item 1, Figure
2.5.-1). The tank will be filled up when water appears in the tap. For flushing purposes,
let the water flow for a few minutes, then close the hot water valve.
THE FIRST HEATING CYCLE MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A PROFESSIONAL .
Visually check if there is any leakage at the connections of flanges and fittings – tighten
them carefully, if necessary. After this, the appliance can be connected to the mains
supply. To switch on the hot water storage container in heat pump mode, press the
ON/OFF button located on the control panel. Before setting the clock for the first time,
and other parameters or programs, follow the instructions in Chapter 6.
