Symbol Mode Description
Eco The appliance operates using the heat pump only.
Auto
The appliance automatically switches between heat pump mode to electrical
heating support, subject to the ambient temperature in the air inlet of the heat
pump.
On holiday
Defreezing. The days aligned to the frequency are indicated. Frost protection
function constantly active.
Boost
In boost mode, the heat pump and the electrical heating support operate
simultaneously, thereby heating up the water in the tank to the preset
temperature the quickest possible.
Time Setting the date and time is necessary for the programs to operate properly.
Program
The display can show how the appliance changes automatically between
the heat pump mode and the electrical heating support, subject to the
temperature of air coming to the air inlet.
Accordingly, you can display the actual performance on the appliance while
running the program.
Information
It can be used to display weekly and monthly statistics providing actual
feedback on the efficiency of the appliance and the usage behaviours.
5.3. Operation procedure
Before switching on
After installation of the pipes for the sanitary hot water tank and the electrical connec -
tions, fill the tank with water. Then, you can switch on the appliance.
When switched on, the LCD display shows all segments for a few seconds.
When powered on first, the appliance starts to operate in ECO mode, in line with the
default settings. This is indicated by the ECO symbol flashing on the display. The flash -
ing display indicates the first start-up. Flashing will stop automatically after 24 hours. If
you press any button, the factory preset water temperature will appear on the display,
to which the appliance will heat up the sanitary water.
After first installation, and when the first long mode of the appliance has finished, it
is recommended to set the time. Select “TIME” mode using the button to set the
time.
When you start up the appliance, all indicators on the control unit will light up for 3 sec -
onds, the buzzer will ring twice, and then the display will show up. If no setting is en -
tered for 1 minute, all indicators will turn off automatically, except for the Fill Water indi -
cator, which will flash, and the Outlet Temp indicator, which will illuminate continuously.
