4.7.1 Changing fixture

Manual changing fixture
The pins of the changing fixture are inserted in the
matching holes in the clamping head. The changing
fixture is tensioned via hand force. The clamping head
is firmly clamped in the changing fixture and can be
inserted into the mounted clamping device with the
aid of the changing fixture.

The clamping heads are used to accommodate the
workpiece that will be machined. They consists of
hard steel and rubber segments that are connected
via a vulcanizing process.
Depending on the requirements of the workpiece
there are clamping heads in different sizes and with
different profiles and bores.
