1. Attach the cutter head assembly to the tool bar
(fig. 4.20).
2. Install the stalk guides to the cutter head assem-
bly (fig. 4.22, item 1)
3. Refer to pages XX-XX for information about in-
stalling hydraulic hoses.
NOTE:
Some cutters may come pre-assembled to
the tool bar. In this case, you would attach
the assembly to the lift assembly.
4. Adjust the cutter heads using the adjusting bolts
so the front of the cutter head is pointing down-
ward approximately ½ inch (fig. 4.22).
Make sure the cutter blades operate
in the correct direction (fig. 4.21).
