Two types of system alarms may be indicated:
• Operating system alarms
indicate operating system anomalies that do not lead to tripping.
They have a low, medium or high criticality level depending on the severity of the anomaly.
- Low criticality level:
anomaly with no impact on the protection functions
and not
requiring urgent corrective action
.
- Medium criticality level:
anomaly which may cause degraded protection functions but,
does not require any urgent corrective action
.
- High criticality level:
anomaly which may cause serious malfunctioning of the protection
functions and
requires urgent corrective action
.
It should be noted that for the low or medium criticality levels, the protection functions
are still operational during this type of alarm.
Operating system alarms
with a low or medium criticality level
are indicated by a flashing
screen of this type:
