Remove the SIM-card from your mobile telephone. Instructions 
on removing the SIM-card from your mobile telephone can be 
found in the relevant operating instructions. 
 
Pull the SIM-card holder on the front side of the base unit out of 
the SIM-card compartment. 
 
Insert the SIM-card into the SIM-card holder. The card must 
click into place and the contacts must be visible. 
 
Push the SIM-card holder (with card) back into the SIM-card 
compartment in the base unit. 
 
 
Pressing the Display button “Names” opens the telephone book. 
 
Pressing the Display button “Options” opens the telephone 
book options. 
 
Select “Copy from SIM” with the Scroll button. 
 
 
Confirm the selection with the Display button “OK”. The entries 
will now be transferred. The left control LED (list symbol with 
earpiece) on the base unit flashes during transfer. If you receive 
the message “Please insert SIM-card”, check that the SIM-card 
is inserted properly, and try again. 
 
Leave the menu by repeatedly pressing the Display button 
“Back”; or return immediately to the main menu by pressing the 
Stop button. 

Please note that the deactivation of the security code 
referred to on Page 30 of these operating instructions is 
currently only possible with T-Mobile (T - D1) SIM-cards. 
If you are using a different SIM-card, please ask your 
service provider about the possibility of deactivating the 
security code.
