10. Additional functions
Additional functions can be activated via the terminal strip of the FT 120.
.
10.1 Connection for
external LEDs
Terminal 1, 2:
A two-pin, bi-directional LED (red/green) can be connected. The LED shows the same status
as the LED of the external antenna and the FT 120 after a proper connection.
10.2 Inputs for external
switches
Terminal 6+7, 8+9:
Two signal inputs can be used as current-controlled inputs (optocoupler inputs). An internal power
source for controlling these inputs is available. They are controlled via potential free contacts.
The inputs can be queried via
→
macros
.
10.3 Potential free output
Terminal 10, 11, 12:
The FT 120 has a relay output (NO, NC and COM). This relay is controlled by
→
macros
.
10.4 5V output
Terminal 13:
The voltage at terminal 13 can be switched to the consumer to be switched for a direct control
of small consumers (such as piezo sound generators or other signal generators).
10.5 Macros
Macros are programmes that extend the functionality of the FT 120. They can control the relay (10,
11, 12) depending on input signals (6,7,8,9). Contact the manufacturer for the development of the
macros.
