Chain wheel
When placing a plate, measure wear with a measuring device. When dimension Vmax is reached, both chain
wheels and the roller chain must be exchanged.

Once the allowed wear has been reached, or cracks or corrosion is found, the parts must be exchanged
against original spare parts!

Service
14.1
Wire rope
Maintenance of the wire rope must be carried out in accordance with the currently valid ISO 4309.
CAUTION!
In case of corrosion, cracks or reaching the wear limit, the affected rope must be replaced with a new
original rope.
14.2
Gear
The gears need low maintenance. The maintenance is restricted to regular lubricant checks and exchanging
the lubricant.
We recommend shorter maintenance intervals in case of severe operating conditions, e.g. increased dust or
dirt or constant operation of the winch with full load.
The gears are filled with synthetic oil at the factory, viscosity 220.
Please take quantities and oil recommended from the following table.
