4 Liability (complementing point Caution)
Neither the A.HABERKORN& Co GmbH nor its sales partners assume any liability for accidents in relation to the present product and
consequential personal and/or material damage, especially in cases of misuse and/or incorrect use. In all cases the users are
responsible for risks taken.
5 Product specific notes
This product is made of polyester or polyamide yarn and/or a combination of both materials.
The rescue loops are set up very easily and therefore very quickly ready for use. They are designed for use in extreme situations,
when – for instance – other rescue devices (rescue tubs) ambulance hammocks, rescue harnesses, rescue bags and similar can not
be used or are not available due to local conditions (in narrow shafts) or for reasons of time (acute emergency situation).
ATTENTION: Rescue loops are only suitable for rescue purposes. The rescuer must ensure that the person to be
rescued is not endangered or injured by a displacement of the rescue loop belts or by impact with the fixing
elements (e.g. when a connecting element strikes the head of the person to be rescued during an unintentional
event, such as a slight fall). Due to the risk of a suspension trauma, the period in which the person to be rescued is held in
a rescue loop, should be as short as possible.

The rescue loop in
class B is designed in
away that the person
to be rescued is kept
in a sitting position
during the rescue
action. One strap
leads over the back
and 2 straps between
the legs - this holds
the body safely. All 3
connecting loops must
be hooked into a
karabiner according to
EN 362. The elastic
shoulder belts of the
triangle seat cloth
make putting on easy.
The shoulder belts are
no load bearing
elements and do not
have any influence on
the functionality of the
triangle seat cloth.
They can be used, but
is not a must. 2 back
belts of different
lengths enable a
perfect adjustment to
different body sizes.
The rescue cloth can
be adapted for taller or
heavier or respectively for smaller and petite persons. The size of the rescue cloth must always be adapted with utmost care,
corresponding competence and diligence. The person to be rescued must be supported securely by the rescue cloth without slipping
or tilting, under no circumstances, even when fainting suddenly during the raising or abseiling procedure. A risk of a suspension
trauma is also possible (see item
1 Safety notes).
