5.6 Uploading/Downloading Configuration
Files/Program via FTP

The VG 10-40 and VG 10-41 support the FTP Server function,

which gives another approach in updating the configuration file and

upgrading the application file and Boot ROM program. Any FTP Client

(including local and remote users) connected to the VG can perform

the operations. After passing the required authentication, a user can

proceed to update the configuration files or upgrading the

applications/Boot ROM program. Follow these steps to

upload/download the application/Boot ROM program/configuration

files via FTP:

Upload is to transfer files from an FTP client to the VG, that is, to

perform the

Download is to transfer files from the VG to an FTP client, that is, to

perform the

operation.
