II. Ethernet cable

100BASE-TX Ethernet interface is usually connected to an

Ethernet via a category-5 twisted pair, as shown in the following figure:

Ethernet cables fall into straight-through cables and crossover

cables for the connection to the network devices, such as HUB, LAN

Switch, and router.

Note:

When preparing network cables, use shielded cables so long as they

are available for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility.
