II. Recommended power outlet
You are recommended to use a single-phase three-wire power
outlet with neutral point. The neutral point of the outlet should be
grounded reliably. Normally, the neutral point of the power supply
system in a building was buried in the ground during the construction
and cabling. You must make sure that the power supply for the
building has been well grounded before connecting the AC power
cord.
III. Connecting AC power cord
Step 1: Insert the connector at the output end of the power supply
unit into the power input of the VG, and plug one connector of the
power cord into the input socket of the power supply unit and the other
end into the AC power socket.
Step 2: Check whether the PWR LED on the front panel is ON.
ON indicates that the power connection is correct.
Caution:
As no power switch is available for the VG, the booting information will
be directly displayed on console terminal in normal cases after you
finish the power connection and turn on the power switch of the power
supply. For details, refer to section4.1.3 Startup Process”.
If the PWR LED is still off after the above procedure is repeated
for several times, refer toChapter 6 Troubleshooting” in this manual.
