Hold the plug of the CX4 cable, pull the handle at the end of the plug to horizontally unplug the plug of
the CX4 cable from the CX4 port of the switch.

Dedicated CX4 cable of the S5500-SI series is hot pluggable.

Make sure that the cable bending radius is no less than eight times of the cable diameter when
dedicated CX4 cable is connected.
Verifying the Installation

Check whether the selected power is the same as the power label on the switch;

Check whether the ground wire is connected;
z
Check whether the power cords are connected correctly;
z
Check whether all the interface cables are routed indoors. If there are cables outdoors, check that
the socket strip with lightning protection and lightning arresters for network ports have been
correctly connected.
