Installing cage nuts for attaching mounting brackets 

Before mounting the chassis in the rack, install cage nuts on the front rack posts for attaching the 
mounting brackets:

, mark the cage nut installation holes for 

the S12516G-AF, S12508G-AF, and S12504G-AF, respectively. 

2. 

Install cage nuts into the marked square holes in the front rack posts. 

 

For the S12516G-AF and S12508G-AF, cage nuts are not needed for the top two marked 
square holes in the right front rack post. 

 

For an S12504G-AF, install cage nuts in all the marked square holes.
