LINK
OFF means no link is present; ON
means a link is present.
ACTIVE
OFF means no packets are being
transmitted/received on the interface;
blinking means packets are being
transmitted/received on the interface.
7.4.5 Interface Cable
I. Ethernet cable
The FE modules use category-5 twisted-pair cables with RJ-45 connectors (see Figure
7-9). Pins 1 and 2 of the connectors are for transmitting data, and Pins 3 and 6 are for
receiving data.
