1. Furnace grate check and cleaning
Every day, check the furnace grate for combustion residues.
Furnace grate cleaning is recommended before each use.

When cleaning, do the following:
(pic. A) Take the furnace grate out and clean it thoroughly.
Beware of residual carbon black (all air vents must not be blocked).
(pic. B) Thoroughly clean the furnace grate insert and the ash space. For safety reasons, cleaning should be done using an ash filter
(e.g. Güde GA 20L ash filter).
(pic. C) Make sure the cleaned furnace grate is fitted properly.
The furnace grate must be seated on the insert even down.
Watch out for furnace grate recesses/dents.

All components of the combustion chamber must be cooled down before cleaning.
Remains of carbon black can be present in the exhausted ash. Never return unburnt pellets or ash from combustion chamber to
the pellet container.
