Merge/Isolate Zone Control System
LCD Indication of System Status:
• Merged Zones (Displayed at same time as Active Zones)
• Active Zones (showing a station is off hook on pre-determined Talk Line in respective zone)
• Alarm Setting (as a priority override to normal Merged /Active Zones status display)
• Alarm Activation (showing alternately with Merged /Active Zones display)

Setting and Cancelling Alarms
If an AG17 Alarm Tone Generator or similar is connected into the system the Master Controller can
generate alarms on the Page lines of selected zones.
Trigger Alarms:
To trigger an alarm press [ALM SET] key, then select the alarm channel through the numeric keys. If
another [ALM SET] key is pressed prior to any numeric key being entered, the MICON will exit the
alarm setup and return to the standby state.
Once the alarm is triggered the zones associated with the alarm will be merged. The red General Alarm
LED will be on to alert the operator for alarm status.
