upon the distance between the transformer power supply and the opener arm. See

If your gate is more than 1000' away from AC ac power source you will need to use at least one
Mighty Mule®
5 watt Solar Panel
(FM121) to charge the 12 Volt automotive or marine type battery (not included). See the

If your fence post is made of wood and is less than 6" in diameter or 6" square, see page 12.
