5. Begin at the boot end of the feed line and attach the supplied cable spring to the insulator clamp as
shown in Figure 4AG . (Insulator not shown for clarity.)
6. Loop the winch cable around the end of the spring and crimp with the supplied cable sleeve as shown
in Figure 4AH . Begin threading the cable through the cable guides on each drop tube.

NOTE: When stringing the cable down the length of the line, there will be several auger tube clamps.
Simply run the cable through the clamp by threading it under the tube clamp bolt as shown
in
Figure 4AI .
7. Press the adjustment bar down and push the handle all the way forward into position #4. Pull the
slack out of the winch cable and extend the spring 1/4"-1/2". Loop the cable through the adjustment
bar hook and secure with the provided cable sleeve as shown in
Figure 4AJ .
