TIMER PROGRAMMING

Changing timer data or switching off the timer

If you wish to change or delete an existing timer setting, you must first switch on the receiver and
then call up the »Timer« sub-menu (press the »

« button and then the numeric button »

You can change the current data for channel position, start time or stop time by overwriting, or,
you can switch off (»

«) the timer function and save using the »

– The main menu is back on the screen.

If you want to exit the »Timer« sub-menu without saving the changes, press the »

During a timer recording
While a timer recording is in progress, a red and green »

« on the front panel of the receiver is lit
up.
The buttons on the receiver and on the remote control are blocked for the reception unit

so that the recording cannot be disrupted.
This means that no changes can be made by pressing the buttons unintentionally.
Exception: the »
Ǽ
« button on the remote control and on the receiver remain unblocked.
Note:
During a timer recording it is not possible to change the channel position or to display menus on
the picture screen. For this reason, a timer position of the satellite receiver should always be pro-
grammed for video recordings.
