– The original sound is retained on the hifi track and
the new sound is recorded onto the longitudinal
track.
The sound level can also be adjusted manually. Use
the buttons on the recorder to do this.
Press the

button and adjust the sound using

buttons until the red display (+1 dB)
lights up during the loudest passages.
Stop the recording using the
W
button. To insert
further sound sequences, repeat the operation from

Stop dubbing using the

When playing back a dubbed cassette, you must
switch to the mono (longitudinal) track in order to
hear the dubbed sound. To do so, press the

AUDIO
repeatedly until »
MONO
« appears in the
display on the recorder.

If you wish to hear the original sound as well as the
dubbing, press the

AUDIO
button repeatedly until

MIX
« appears in the display on the recorder.

If the recorder is connected to an audio mixer,
you can hear the hifi original sound of the video
cassette with the sound from external sound
sources.

A new audio track can be added to the recording at
a later date.

The original sound of the longitudinal track is
erased completely and the hifi (helical) track is
preserved.

Connecting
Connect the hifi system to the L AUDIO IN R
sockets at the front of the recorder using a
commercially available phono cable.
The sockets are also suitable for connecting to an
audio mixer (output).
R = right channel; L = left channel.
Connect a mixer (input) to the
Ň
AUDIO sockets if
required.
R = right channel; L = left channel.

Operation
Use the buttons on the remote control for this
function.
Insert a pre-recorded cassette into the recorder.
Select the dubbing function by pressing the

REC. MODE
button once.

Confirm the dubbing function using the

button.
– The recorder switches to dubbing pause.
In playback mode, locate the place on the tape
where the dubbing should begin and press the

button (playback pause).
