Safety fitting (e.g. system separator) checked for non-return
function.
Not required in case of intrinsically safe water softeners, in
particular water softeners with DVGW test mark!

In water softeners with a disinfection unit:
Functional check of the disinfection unit
(measure flow).
- With Delta-p, only possible with code -.

If necessary, read regeneration counter, total soft water
volume, error memory.
- With Delta-p, system data printout is possible via serial port -

If necessary, reset service interval.

Record all data and activities, including repair work in the
operating log.

Hand over the water softener and the filled out operating log
to the owner-operator.
3.1 Operating log The operating log is attached to this operation manual. When
starting up the system, make sure to record all data on the cover
sheet of the operating log and fill in the first column of the
checklist.
The customer service technician will fill in a column of the
check list whenever maintenance is performed. This document
provides evidence of proper maintenance.
