Special Key Shortcuts
This section explains various shortcut key combinations supported by the IT31 terminal. Note that these key
combinations are not valid for any other terminal type.
Key Combinations
To reboot the terminal
The terminal keyboard has two “secret” keys, as shown in the following diagram:
One secret key is located in the top left corner of the keyboard overlay near the
F1
key; the other is located
in the top right corner of the keyboard overlay near the
F5
key. The keys will beep when pressed.
To reboot the terminal, hold down both secret keys and the
Enter
key at the same time.
To terminate the current application
Hold down the F1, F5 and Enter keys at the same time. The current application will terminate and the default
application launcher will be displayed.
To enter the bootloader recovery menu
Hold down the 0 and 1 keys whilst the terminal is booting up. This will display the Bootloader menu (see
“The Bootloader Recovery Menu” on page 25
