Maintenance

Warning – Do not att empt to repair or ser vic e your Meter unless yo u are qualif ied to do so and have the
rele vant cali bration, perf ormance test, and ser vi ce inf orma tion. To avoid ele ctrical s hoc k or damage to
the Mete r, do not get wat er inside t he cas e.
A. G ene ral Se rvice

Periodically wipe the case with a d a mp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abr asives or solvents.
l
To clean the terminals with cotton b ar with detergent , as dirt o r moisture in the ter minals can a ffe ct readings.
l
Press the
POWE R
to turn off the Meter when it is not in use and take out th e batte ry when not using for a long
time.
l
Do not store the Mete r in a pla ce o f humidity, high te mpe ratur e and strong magnetic field .
B. T esting t he Fus es
Warning – To a void ele ctrical shoc k or personal inj ury, r emo ve t he test lea ds and any input signals
bef ore r eplaci ng the batt ery or f use. To preve nt da mage or inj ury, install ONL Y replac ement fuses with
identical am perage, voltag e, and speed ra tings.

I f the display shows any other value , have the Meter se rviced and conta ct your de aler i mmediately.
I f the Meter do es not work while the fus e is all right, send it to your deal er for rep air.
