6.3
CHANGING THE CALIBRATION LEVELS
6.3.1 General
To calibrate a sensor at a level that is different to that
programmed into the probe, (eg. if the appropriate gas is
not available), change the calibration level as described in
Section 6.3.2 and, when calibrated, the new level will be
programmed into the probe.
An adjustable Calibration Time is provided for each sensor.
This time is in addition to any time that has been allowed for
sensor measurements to stabilise, and is intended as a time
to allow the sensor measurement to be observed prior to
calibration.
The calibration levels for each sensor that are programmed
into the probe may be changed at any time back to those
originally used in the factory. By doing this (see Section
6.3.2) the output of the sensor is automatically set to
correspond with that expected at the factory setting.
