which may be required to keep your unit operating at
peak efficiency.

Check fasteners.
Inspect all nuts, bolts and other fasteners to ensure that they are tight.
Replace any missing fasteners. Inspect to ensure that all guards and
covers are in place and securely fastened.
Clean unit.
Clear away debris from the brush.
Every
8 hours
Lubricate grease zerks and
pivot.
NOTE: There are five grease zerks on the power brush. There is one on
each wheel fork, on each caster wheel axle and one on the pivot. There is
also one grease zerk on the universal joint used on the 8000 and 8000-G
Series Tractor.
NOTE: Do not add multipurpose grease to the pivot when the brush is
used on the 8000 or 8000-G Series Tractor.
Every
100
hours
Grease the gearbox.
After 100 operating hours, remove the gearbox cover and replace the
multipurpose grease. Use chain lubricant SAE-50 with Paratec or
equivalent to lubricate the chain.
NOTE: Do not damage the gasket on the gearbox cover. If the gasket is
damaged, replace it.
Adjust chain.
