Prepare and glue the parts (26) to (42) according to the plan and sketch. Please refer
to sections E-E and F-F. Fill the gaps of the ribs above the upper spar (26) with the
remaining parts of the wood. Sand the elevator unit, round the edge profile (42) and
shape the elevator (43) according to the plans. Drill holes Ø 4 mm from the bottom
for the screw (92) and the dowel (87). After covering the elevator plan, glue the dowel
(87) and glue the elevator with adhesive tape (91) over the entire length according to
the sketch.
Wing
First, assemble the right-hand half of the wing half, as already described, protect the
building plan with a clear coat, then pinch the nose profile (44) and end profile (45).
Fix the end profiles according to section H-H and I-I with the 0.8 mm thick support
(U). Glue the ribs (46) and (47) centrally into the end profile (45), glue all ribs (49)
flush with the top edge end profile. Glue the rib (46) using the angle template (W).
After the adhesive has hardened, remove the wing from the building surface and
stick the spars (50).
Sand the brass pipe (51) and glue it together with the filling parts (52) and (53) using
cyano adhesive. Then fit the strips (54) and glue them in place. Remove the leading
strips (44), (45) and (50) with the jigsaw. Fit the spar connectors (68) and (69) and
glue them in place. Then fit the holm strips (67) and glue them. Please note, the
conical outer side is marked with a laser cut. Now glue the ribs (70) and (71).
Carefully sand the wing and glue the panels (75), (77) and (78).
When gluing the planking, make sure that the wing rests on the construction support
without distortion. The planking is best glued with a few cyano adhesive and then
glue into the corners from below. Build the wing outer part as well as the left wing
parts according to the already described scheme.
