Mount flap assembly to no-drill.
A) Use 3/8-16 x 1” carriage bolts provided.
B) Position flap assembly so it is flat again blocker plate
and snug carriage bolts.
C) Tight no-drill mount bolts.

Install Blocker Plate and Deflector Angle
A) Reposition blocker plate to deck and clamp it to the
hinge plate. Drill two 1/4” holes in blocker plate.
Start tee nut into holes from back side. Start
screws into tee nuts. Do not tighten yet. Caution:
do not drive tee nut completely through plate or
damage to threads may occur.
B) Slide deflector angle between blocker plate and
hinge plate with red tape against hinge plate.
C) Check deflector angle for interference when flap is
closed, trim or notch with tin snips if needed.
D) Peel off tape backing and apply angle to hinge plate,
leave 1/16” minimum gap between bottom of angle
and top of deck/flap mount.

Cut blocker plate to length.
A) Position blocker plate front to back on discharge with
minimum ½ inch overhang at rear. Blocker plate
should be even with bottom of deck at rear of
discharge. Level top edge to be parallel to top of deck.
If the discharge is not flat refer to optional bending
instructions on page 5 before cutting to length.
B) Mark and cut the blocker plate length leaving a
minimum of 1/2” overhang front and back. Trim and
round corners for clean look.
