Basic Panel Operations
4.
Select a Category from the Category side or right-hand side. The Entries
that are assigned to the Category will then appear on the left -hand side.
5.
Select a Destination from the Destination entries on the left hand side of
the panel.
Selecting the Destination from the Level Menu
A Destination can be selected from the Level menu since there is a “shortcut
key.
Selecting the Source from the Level or the Multiple Destination Menus
A Source can be selected from the Level or the Multiple Destination menus.
There are two methods of selecting a Source, Direct Entry and Category
Entry. Each of these methods will be explained below. Both of these Instruc-
tion steps assume the green
Source
button in the Level mode has been
pressed. The LCD16 is different from the LCD48 because the LCD48 dis-
plays both the Direct Entry (on the Left half) and the Category Entry (on the
Right half) of the panel. The LCD16 requires the use of
Select Source
button
to switch between the direct entry and category entry modes.
Selecting the Source using the Direct Entry Method
Follow these steps to select a Source using the Direct Entry method:
1.
Scroll through the available Sources using the Scroll wheel. The Sources
will change.
2.
Select the Source by pressing the destination button. The selected
Source is now the “current destination.” The panel will then
immediately revert back to the previous mode. For example, the Level
mode.
Selecting the Source using the Category Entry Method
Follow these steps to select a Source using the Category Entry method:
1.
Press the category name and then scroll through the available Source
using the Scroll wheel.
2.
Select the entry number by pressing the Source button.
3.
Press the Take button. The panel will then immediately revert back to
the previous mode. For example, the Level mode.
Select Sequence Mode
A
sequence
or a salvo, is the switching of one or more Sources to one or more
Destinations with a single button press. Sequences can be done at any time,
regardless of which mode the panel is in.
