JUPITER L-S and LCD Series Control Panel Instruction Manual

Section 11 — LCD Series Panel Operation

Press the

Take

button in the Command buttons section. The Destination

button will then change color to magenta. The

Protect-Lock

button will

also blink magenta.

Note

If the Sticky Destination feature has been turned on for the panel, the button
will be white. Press the selected button again to change the color.

The letter “P” will appear in front of the name of the panel that pro-
tected the Destination. See

Figure 93

for an example.

Locking

Locking a Destination prevents that Destination from being switched by
any panel in the system, including the initiating panel. If any of a Destina-
tion’s level is locked, the

Lock/Protect

button on that panel will illuminate

red.

Locking a Destination

To lock a Destination:

Select the Destination you wish to lock by pressing the button.

Press the

Protect/Lock

button in the Command buttons section twice. The

button will then turn a solid red.

Press the

Take

button in the Command buttons section. The

Destination‘s button color will then change to red and the

Protect/Lock

button will blink red.

Note

If the Sticky Destination feature has been turned on for the panel, the button
will be white. Press the selected button again to change the color.

tected the Destination. See
