Setting the DIP Switches

Four DIP switches set the DFADE-2’s operating mode:

REMOTE

STEREO

UNITY GAIN

•

Mode Switch 1

—

STEREO

Set switch 1

for two-channel mode. Local gain

trims operate independently. Remote faders operate
independently. Remote pan controls are available.

Set switch 1

Down

for stereo mode.

L GAIN

controls both channels simultaneously.

R GAIN

disabled. The remote left fader controls both
channels simultaneously. Remote balance and
separation controls are available.

NOTE

If you switch to stereo mode and adjust

L GAIN

only

, remember that there may be a balance

difference between channels when you switch back
to two-channel mode.
