DFADE-2 Internal Jumpers

This section provides information about the DFADE-2’s internal
jumpers and adjustments.

NOTE

For detailed instructions on opening and closing the
DFADE-2, see Appendix A, “

Inside the Module

The figure below shows the DFADE-2’s internal jumper locations:

jumper

To change processing from 20 to 24 bits, install jumper

IMPORTANT

The factory default for jumper

OFF

(20-bits).

Note that 24-bit processing may be used

only

the source is 24-bits, if the source is

not using

the 4 auxiliary bits, and if the next set of
equipment (in the audio chain) is set to use 24-
bits as audio data.
