7. Apply a light coating of grease to the pump rod (27)

and push it into the pump housing through the hole

in the retaining nut (9) (F

8. Replace the two back-up rings (14) and o-ring (15)

with new back-up rings and o-ring and grease

lightly (F

9. Place the extension tube (26) over the pump rod

and tighten to pump housing (torque 32 ft-lb/43.4

N•m) (F

. 55). Apply medium strength thread

locking compound.

10. Place the ball (22) back into the pump piston (25)

11. Apply medium strength thread locking compound

on the threads of the pump rod (27).
