Heating with infrared gas burner (position – symbol)

•

Heat comes directly from the infrared burner located at the
oven ceiling. This mode actually provides grilling of food.

•

During the operation of infrared burner the oven is not
controlled by the thermostat

 – the burner constantly

operates at full power,

so remove

the oven door or keep it

open, and insert the control panel protective shield above
the oven.

Operation

Infrared burner is controlled by the oven function mode
selection - grill button. Set the button

 to the position grill.

Positions between OFF (black dot)   and

 the grill symbol

are not allowed, since the flame is not stable and may go off.

Ignition

To switch the oven burner on press the oven control button
towards the control panel and turn it to the mode selection
"grill"

. Simultaneously press  the ignition device button

(several times), or use a match or a lighter.

•

Once the gas starts burning, keep the control button pressed
for about 5-10 seconds, until the flame becomes constant
and release the button.

•

If the oven burner fails to ignite after 15 seconds, shut the
burner off, open the oven door and wait for at least 1 minute
before the next ignition attempt.

•

If for any reason whatsoever the oven burner flame goes
out, shut the burner off immediately and wait for at least 1
minute before attempting to repeat the ignition procedure.

Extinction

Burner is switched off by turning the control button to the right
in the zero position (black dot)  . The gas faucet is shut off
and the flame is extinct.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS!

•

During ignition and operation of infrared oven burner the
oven door must be opened.

•

Time elapsed from the escape of gas and the moment of
ignition should be as short as possible.

Grilling with infrared gas burner

•

Take extra precautions when grilling. Intensive heat from
infrared heater makes the oven and the accessories
extremely hot. Use thick protective gloves and barbecue
accessories!

•

Perforated roast may produce spurting of hot grease
(sausages). Use long grill tongs to prevent skin burns

•

Always protect your eyes.

•

Supervise the grill at all times. Excessive heat may quickly
burn your roast and provoke fire!

•

Caution: accessible appliance components might be
extremely hot after the use of grill. Prevent little children
from approaching the appliance.

•

Grill heater is especially suitable for the preparation of low-
fat sausages, meat and fish fillets and steaks, and for
browning and crisping the roast skin.

Tips for grilling

•

Grilling is carried out with the oven door open.

•

Insert the protective shield under the control panel.
