Draft control
Suitable for work which requires a constant force from the lift on the tractor
(ploughs, cultivators, etc.).
•
Move lever (N° 14 fig.1) back to the end of its travel.
•
With lever (N° 13 fig.1), raise and lower the lift.
Floating mode
Suitable for work which requires the implement to work free and able to follow
the contours of the terrain (rotary hoes, ridgers, scrapers, etc).
•
Move lever (N° 13 fig.1) back to the end of its travel.
•
With lever (N° 14 fig.1), raise and lower the lift.
Mixed mode
Suitable for work which requires the implement to be lifted no more than a
certain height.
•
Raise the lift to the required height using lever (N° 14 fig.1).
•
Raise and lower the lift with lever (N° 13 fig.1).
Speed and sensitivity adjustment of the lift
By fully tightening lever (N° 34 fig.1) on the control valve, the implement will be
locked in the raised position. This makes it safe to be transported on the roads.
By unscrewing the same regulator, the lift will lower faster.
To make the 3rd point even more sensitive, attach it to one of the lower
mounting holes of the tractor.
The 3rd point hitch must NOT be used for towing implements.
4.10 BALLAST
Ballast for the wheels and to fit to the front of the tractor can be supplied on
order for particularly working conditions.
The tractor can also be ballasted by filling the tyres with water:
Jack up the wheel and move the valve to the top. Slacken off the valve fixing nut
and remove the mobile part from it by means of the cap of the valve itself. Now
deflate the wheel. Connect the valve to a water tap and gradually fill the tyre,
stopping every so often to allow any air to escape.
Stop filling when the water spills from the valve. Tighten the mobile element
back on the valve, lock the ring nut and inflate the tyre as indicated.
The water is drained out in the same way but by moving the valve to the bottom.
Warning:
Only ballast the tractor if necessary and in the described way. Use
antifreeze solutions in cold climates.
