To set the pressure for the overflow/pressure control valve (fig. d), the handwheel (3) is
to be pressed with light spring force downwards until it clicks into the adjusting spindle.
By turning the pressed handwheel (in a clockwise direction) the pressure is increased,
and turning it to the left (anti-clockwise direction) reduces the set pressure. The setting
can be made during operation.
The factory seal cap (8) must be removed to adjust set valves. The seal must be broken.
The safety washer (7) must then be removed from the valve spindle. The handwheel
(3) can now be unscrewed. The lock ring (9) is to be removed. After reassembling the
removed parts 3, 6 and 7, the valve can be adjusted as described above near to the ins
-
talled spring. To secure the setting, the lock ring (9) must be reinserted and a new seal
cap (8) attached. A neutral seal cap can be purchased as a spare part to seal or close.
This valve has been tested prior to leaving the factory. We grant a warranty for our pro -
ducts which entails the repair, free of charge, of any parts that are returned and verified
as being prematurely unsuitable for use due to defective material or manufacturing. We
shall not assume liability for any damage or other such obligations. If the factory seal is
damaged (in the case of pressure limiting valves), in the event of any incorrect handling
or installation, contamination or normal wear, warranty claims shall be null and void.
