Operating Instructions & Function Tests
To Drive
Depending on how the turret is rotated, both Drive and Steer functions may respond unexpectedly.
Note the position of the arrows on the Drive Function Select icon before moving the Control Paddles.
1 Press the Drive Function Select switch.
2 Press and hold the Foot Interlock Switch on the platform floor.
• Increase speed: Slowly move the Right Control Paddle off center.
• Push the Right Control Paddle forward to move forward.Pull the Right Control
Paddle rearward to move rearward.
• Decrease speed: Slowly move the Right Control Paddle toward center.
• Stop: Return the Right Control Paddle to center or release the Foot Interlock Switch.
Use the color-coded direction arrows on the platform controls to identify the direction the
machine will travel.
Machine travel speed is restricted when the platform is raised.
Battery condition will affect machine performance. Machine drive speed and function speed
will drop when the battery level indicator is flashing.
To Reduce Drive Speed
The drive controls can operate in two different drive speed modes.
When the Drive Speed Select Button is pushed down toward the Turtle icon, slow drive speed
mode is active.
When the Drive Speed Select Button is pushed up toward the Rabbit icon, slow drive speed
mode is active.
