1.3 Replacing Relays

Slowly pull the analyzer (front panel and all connected
circuit boards) out of the case.

Locate the board-mounted fuses on the left circuit
board. Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a GLI
fuse (or equivalent). A GLI fuse kit (part number
1000G3315-102) for analyzers with letter “A” prefix se-
rial number includes 80 mA and 100 mA fuses,
replacement bezel, and new panel gasket.

Re-assemble the analyzer. Then plug all terminal con-
nectors back into their terminal strips.
For Analyzers with “No Letter ” Prefix Serial Number
1.
After disconnecting line power, unplug all terminal con-
nectors from their terminal strips.

Remove the four screws attaching the back panel, and
remove the panel from the case.

Locate the board-mounted fuses on the left circuit
board. Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a GLI
fuse (or equivalent). A GLI fuse kit (part number
1000G3315-101) for analyzers with “no letter” prefix se-
rial number includes 80 mA and 100 mA fuses.

Re-assemble the analyzer. Then plug all terminal con-
nectors back into their terminal strips.
The analyzer relays are soldered into a complex, multi-
layered circuit board. To avoid the possibility of damaging
this board while attempting to replace a relay, simply return
the complete analyzer to the GLI Customer Service Dept. or
your local factory-authorized service organization for relay
replacement.
