"WAVE file error"
This message appears if at least one of the ten
WAVE files on the SD card is missing or has the
wrong format.
...
appears next to the ringing tone melody?
The crossed-out SD card next to a ringing tone
melody is displayed if
• the melody cannot be found on the SD card
(file saved incorrectly?)
• the melody was saved in an incompatible
WAVE format (for WAVE file parameters,
see Page 26)
i
Operation despite missing ringing tone
melody
If the required ringing tone melodies are miss-
ing from the SD card, melodies 1 through 5 are
replaced by the permanently stored basic melo-
dies. If melodies 6 through 10 are missing, they
are replaced by basic melody 1. This ensures
that the surface-mounted home station video
Plus can signal calls even without an SD card.
i
Ringing tone melodies in the download
area
The ringing tone melodies used in the surface-
mounted home station video Plus (Order No.
1239 ..) are available in the Gira download area.
If necessary, ringing tone melodies 1 to 5 of the
surface-mounted home station video (Order No.
1279 ..) can also be downloaded as WAVE files
for the surface-mounted home station video
Plus. This way, the same ringing tone melodies
can be used for signalling as soon as two differ-
ent surface-mounted home station videos are in
use.
