COM1 communication protocol

: Serial communication deactivated

: Continuous transmission of a weight string. It can be used for example to
drive a weight repeater display. The transmission frequency can be obtained
from the table below.
dEMAnd
: A weight string is transmitted by the operator command (PRG key or logic
input 2). The command is not accepted if the weight is not stable. Between
two successive transmissions the weight must undergo a variation ≥ 20 div.
AutoM
: A weight string is automatically transmitted when the weight stabilizes at a
value greater than the minimum weight (20 divisions). Between two succes-
sive transmissions the weight must undergo a variation of at least 20 div.
SLAVE
: The instrument transmits a weight string, responding to a request string re-
ceived from the serial line. This protocol supports the RS485 communication
system which provides for the connection of multiple instruments to a master
unit. The response time of the instrument (if the delay parameter has not
been set) can vary from 0 to 20 mSec.
