Logic inputs connection
(only RQ / ANA version)
The logic inputs are electrically isolated from the instrument by opto-isolators.
The logic input connection cables must not be channeled with power or power supply
cables.
Use a connection cable that is as short as possible.
To activate a logic input, it must be brought to the positive of a 24 V DC power supply while the common
must be connected to the negative of the same.
The following diagram shows connections using, for example, a button on input 1 and a switch on input 2.

The two outputs are relays with a single common. The capacity of each contact is 24 VDC / VAC, 1A.

Serial RS485 connection
(only RQ / 485 version)
To make the serial connection use a shielded cable, taking care to connect the shield
to one of the two ends: to pin 13 if connected on the instrument side, to ground if con-
nected on the opposite side
If the cable has a greater number of conductors than those used, connect the free
conductors to the shield.
The cable must not be channeled with other cables (e.g. outputs connected to remote
control switches or power cables), but must possibly follow its own path.
