ProfiBus connection

(only RQ / ProfiBus version)

The instrument, when it is in this configuration, has a ProfiBus DP fieldbus connector at the bottom with the
following characteristics:



ProfiBus baud rate from 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps

B-Line

RTS

GND Bus

+ 5V Bus

A-Line

ProfiBus cable



To make the connection, use a ProfiBus-cable



For connection, the HMS_1810.GSD file must be present on the PLC / PL (supplied

with the instrument)

ProfiNet connection

(only RQ / ProfiNet version)

In the RQ / ProfiNet hardware version, the connection to the ProfiNet line is executed through the dedicated
RJ45 connector. There are two version: with a single RJ45 connector or with two connectors.

In the case of two connectors, the input and output of the ProfiNet line is indifferent.

Ethercat connection

(only RQ / Ethercat version)

In the RQ / Ethercat hardware version, the connection to the Ethercat line is made via two non-
interchangeable RJ45 connectors.

The connector towards the front panel is the input, the connector towards the back is the output.
