IDE HDD Auto Detection

The Enhance IDE features was included in all Award BIOS. The following is
a brief description of this feature.

1. Setup Changes
<I> Auto-detection

BIOS setup will display all possible modes that are supported by the
HDD including NORMAL, LBA & LARGE.

If HDD does not support LBA modes, no ’LBA’ option will be shown.

If the number of cylinders is less than or equal to 1024, no ‘LARGE’
option will be shown.

Users can select a mode which is appropriate for them.
